The end of the year and the start of a new year is one of my favorite times of the year. Because I can reflect on the past year and then make goals for the coming year!
Reflecting
As I reflected on this past year…I wanted to share one lesson that I have learned this year. It has been a year of change and being stretched to become a better version of myself.
Change is Hard
One thing that I have relearned this year is that change is hard and is hard work. The quote “If You Always Do What You’ve Always Done, You’ll Always Get What You’ve Always Got.” ~ Henry Ford
Starting Something New
The way I was fueling my body and dealing with stress had to change. This was hard but I knew it needed to happen…it was HARD! The beginning was the hardest when I was trying to heal my gut. But it was just physically hard. Then about a few weeks later I had a strong prompting to start a blog/business IG account related to my journey and the information I was learning. This was something I didn’t want to do. I was frustrated/mad/angry that I had to start something that was completely out of my comfort zone. But I eventually took the steps I needed and even though I couldn’t understand why I needed to do this I trusted God more. On my health journey I was learning and feeling the push to transform my home into a less toxic/ more natural solutions home; even more than we were doing already. With that prompting I was directed to start on a new business opportunity that is stretching way beyond I feel capable of doing. But I continue to trust God on this journey.
I’d love to hear a lesson that 2023 brought you; leave a comment below!
